I would like a snow plow that attaches to the 200CX loader arms, one that is similiar to the 300CX.
If there is one what is the pricing?
Has anyone purchased and used the 54" Quick Attach Blade
and what is your opinion on this blade?

I didn't go with the snowblower due to cost, but needed the box for other duties the rest of the year. The front loader box works GREAT for snow. It can push quite a lot, and it can just scoop up and dump the pile at the end. It also does a great job going through the snowbank left at the end of your driveway by the snowplows going by. The box is great, and I have a 300 foot driveway. ....

The front blade hooked to the loader would be something you need to investigate through Curtis or some other plow group. Like yourself, I would like a blade on the loader arms, but have yet to see a cost effective option compared to the front blade itself. That is, a front quick hitch blade is around $1200 for your unit and you will likely double that number trying to get a front blade on the loader. If you do find a cheap option, then I would like to hear about. ....

jd2210, you seem to be very knowledegeable of JD tractors. I bought a new 2305 and have a 54 inch hydraulic front blade for it. Used it for plowing snow for the first time yesterday. was not happy with the results. is there a way to make this blade free float to follow the contour of the ground? mine didn't seem to want to free float as my 485 did. ....

didn't even notice that, thankyou. I quit listening to my JD guy today and sat down and read the operator's manual and found it DOES have a float mode unlike my JD guy who said it didn't. thanks again. ....
