We have had trouble with idle quality and low end performance with our gator with 480 hours we had done a number of things such as 89 octane fuel and always fresh to new gas pump, filter and spark plugs, still not any better until today I loosened up the screws holding the throttle position sensor and moving them a little, works great now, side note you will need security torx bits to do this

Is it obvious where the TPS is and which way to move it? How much did you move it?

loosen the security screws enough to twist the sensor both directions as far as possible few times with engine shut off and then move back to the original position and start engine and move either direction very very slowly to get desired performance and idle quality and then slightly snug up the screws, have had to do this a couple times on mine, works great ....
