I seem to have a lot of play in the kingpin one one side, so I'm planning to replace kingpins and bushes on both sides. The tech manual (TM1518) doesn't actually mention them. What I want to know is: can they be replaced in situ, or will I have to remove the whole rack to do the job?
Any help most appreciated.

Take the bolt that goes thru the spindle out, swing the spindle out of the way, and the king pin will fall out. Knock the bushings out with a punch and you're in business. ....
