Hello I have a 1995 john deere gator 6x4 that I need a new in line fuel pump. I called john deere about a pump and they said 110.59 for the liitle pump. Can someone tell me what the pump pressure is so I can try to find a universal pump? Has anyone else used a different pump and if so which one?

Don't know what kind of pump it is, but I do now that I found the same inline pump used on cars and trucks was used on my big Case trencher was in that range--yet the same one "not painted" was less than $30. Same thing with a mechanical lift pump for my Perkins diesel. $64 at the dealer $27 aftermarket----they were they same pump in the same packaging. My '99 Cummins Ram: $425 MOPAR dealer; $127 Cummins dealer.

I would try an aftermarket and if it runs good---use it. ....
