Winch and Block Heater for Jinma 284

Here's two questions for our resident experts. I'd like to put a winch on the front of my #284, but clearance seems to be an issue between the FEL and the chassis. Any suggesteions or ideas? Also, I'd like to get a block heater - the Jinma diesel just doesn't like the cold weather. Any suggestions? I've seen them from $29.95 to over $100.
