Hi all, I have recently acquired a Toyosha/Hinomoto E184 w/ the s-107 1.1cc 2cyl. w/ a Diesel-Kiki 104302-6600 fuel injection pump, from my father in-law. He has used and serviced it for the last ten years. It has been gifted to me with fuel problems.
After bleeding, filter replacement, fresh fuel, opening the side and lower inspection plates (both chambers lacked oil)the #1 operates (rides up/down on the cam) but does not deliver fuel, the #2 is stuck. I want to remove the pump to be cleaned, serviced, rebuilt or replaced.
My question, does the entire front gear cover, hydro pump, water pump all have to come off ??? In order to access the fuel pump drive gear???????

It looks like that is the case. The nut has to be removed from the pumpshaft to get the gear off since the gear can't fit through the pump opening. I have a service manual that covers that engine but my office is in a mess because of a plumbing leak so I don't know where the manual is. ....

hope the leak is resolved and didn't ruin the manual....might be something else in it i will need.... thanks for the confirmation. ....
