This diesel tractor appeared to start loosing power yesterday while bushhogging and quickly stopped running down hill. My solution was to put in some fuel as it was real low, crack the injector connections at the head to get the air out, and continue mowing. The stream of fuel at the injectors never did flow well if any at all and it did not start. Are there any other tests or things i should be doing?

Often when running low on fuel the sediment that has developed in the fuel tank gets into the fuel line with enough pollutants to hinder the flow of fuel through the fuel filter. ....
