Hi, my dads girl friend is thinking about selling her 1955 super h bought new in june 55 , very nice original condition with a light oil film on engine , staight metal all decals/paint very nice , runs great, no smoke or noises , approx what should she be asking for this tractor, has all the orinal paper work / manuels etc , Craig

I thought they quite making that model, like in '52 or '53. That is when "C's, H's & M's were replaced by 200's, 300's & 400's.
Is it with narrow front end or wide?
I'm not real familiar what pricing would be. I'd guess in the $2,500.00 to $4,500.00 range. A collector may pick it up at the higher end, if it is real clean. In my area, if it were green it would get lots more. ....

Its a narrow front end , by the serial number it might be a 1954 that was left over and sold in 1955 , craig ....

I think wide fronts are more popular with collectors since they are rarer. Users usually want the wide front as well. I think my dad had a 1955 IHC 400.
Sounds like a nice collectible. I'd look on e-Bay and local newspaper to get a national and regional value before putting it up for sale. ....

A nice 54 should bring somewhere in the 3200. to 4000. range. I sold a nice 53 last fall for 3250. at auction. The 54's had a some updates that make them more desiresable. I won't go into all of them but a true collector will spot them right off. Any serial no. above 22202 was built in 54. ....
