If you could not do it they would not sell the plug ends. I use an extension cord for my 460VAC 3phase welder and plasma cutter. Just make sure you have the correct size wire. Go to you local electric supply house and tell them what you want to do and they will get you what you need. I used 4/0ga.for my equipment. You will only need 3/1 or 3/2

On A couple after market loader and such all that is used is a ball valve to close the circuit. There is a valve used on the tail gates of New Holland balers that would work to. It is actually a one way spool valve.

I would put it up against the Kubota. But that is just by 10 minutes looking over it with out the tractor running.

I used to see trades that the tires would freeze in the winter. You know it happens all the time. Farmers are cheap.

As far as the TZ. I have seen them with filled tires when I was working with them every day. Price vs. benefit is very very small.

You think the hauling laws are trouble. Talk to some cops about driving your tractor and implements on the road. Every single one will give a different answer to any question about it. Especially in PA an Ohio where turn signals and head lights at a certain hight restriction are required.

On the new tractor the eliminated the level check/ filler plug. It is one common sump for the entire axle lug nut to lug nut. Why they have not changed the book yet (going on 3 years now) is beyond me. Try greasing the drive shaft. Make sure you get every fitting. The culprit is usually where the shaft goes through the plastic or rubber boot/ dust cover.

What is so expensive is the labor. Parts (after market) alone for a complete front brake job might be around $90 - $120. Including new pad and rotors. Rear disk brakes with internal parking shoes roughly $120 - $190 for every thing pads, shoes and rotors. Not really too bad. Add $80 to $110 an hour labor and factory parts your are up a creak.

Personally I switched to ceramic pads. No nasty dust and they run cooler thus keeping brake fad from heat to a minimum. They also last a lot longer. In fact I replace the vehicle before the pads. They are a little harder on the rotors than semi metallic but nothing to worry to much about.

The new Tractors have a factory cab. I stopped in the other day and sat in one and I really like the way it is layed out. Very good viewing area. And I saw (off subject) that they have a new loader as well. They claim that you can be off of 90 degrees and it will guide it self in.

With regards to the 1000 hours. I have seen some come in with that plus the highest being around 4500. Some looked like brand new others were ready for the scrap pile. You pretty much answered your own question. You best bet would be to look it over really well. Drive it around, try all the levers and buttons make sure they do what they are supposed to do. Then go drive a new one was there any strange noises in the used one not in the new. Don't be afraid to take some serious time going over the unit.

There will be a pressure port on that tractor some where usually back by the 3pt control linkage. and a return to sump port in about the same area. If you stop in at a Case dealer and talk to the service guys they will be able to tell or perhaps show you ion the service manuals where these ports are located. After you have those it is just a matter of making the hoses with the correct fittings on the end to get to your valve.

All I use is the rag at the end of the day. My tools get SOAKED,!!! as well as me when it rains. Some of my older stuff has a little bit of rust but not thing that really concerns me, and they still do the job. Now MY joints on the other hand are really rusty and hardly want to move some time that is a story for another time.

For the life of me I just can't convince my customers to build me a shop in the middle of there corn field or job site. I would(n't) do for them.

The two machines use the same relay for the glow plugs. In fact they have the same engine also.
