Your best bet is to plow it first.. A cultivator will not do you much good as that is not its made for... good luck

I can see no value to having wheels if you have hydraulic 3ph, but I have never had one with wheels, I would recommend buying the heavy duty. I just use the position control to determine how low or high I want to rake Good Luck

You did not indicate there was any noise prior to this problem, The comment about slippage has me confused as the transmission has no clutches, I think you have a bent or broken shifting fork or the pin has come off the rail.. You can check this by removing the cover, be careful and do not tear the gasket, raise it up just a couple of inches and you should be able to tell...good luck

I would not cut it close before spraying with roundup I find it works much better if you get good coverage on the weeds or grass

Are you talking about using your 3ph for down pressure,or just putting your position control all the way down. If you are talking about your position control you should have no problems..also clover should be sown so that the seeds go through at least one good freeze. a lot of people broadcast the seed after a snow so they can see the coverage

There are different kinds of harrows, sping tooth,rigid tooth or disk. Disk harrow is good for chopping up weeds,straw, or breaking up the ground just enough to sow seeds... I plow the ground and then use a disk to chop it up and I pull a couple of railroad ties behind the disk.. A disk harrow will not penetrate the ground much unless you make repeated passes Better off to plow and then disk

I am not real familiar with the 2360 but remember Long does not manufacture tractors, they only import them... The 2360 is "entry level" tractor. I think it is a UT. I have owned a Farm Trac 60 for six years and have had no problems.. I am pretty rough on it but perform maintenance according to the schedule or ahead of schedule...

I did not pay any sales tax, anything related to farming in Mo. there is no sales tax... Some dealers if you buy a tractor with a mmm they are required to charge sales tax because they say it is not for farming.

pete the last thing I want to do is attract deer, we have way too many in my neck of the woods, like Richard said, they destroy fruit trees and your garden, and they help themselves to cattle feed, what will eventually happen is people will get tired of the damage they do and think if they quit feeding them they will go away, then they will not be able to get enough feed and disease will set in and then you do have a mess..So I would think twice before I start feeding deer

Richard, I am sure you have heard the saying "people are Goveren by the type of goverment they deserve" I am sad to say your idea of not voting is not the way of solving our problems,not only are you telling our elected officials you condone their actions and behavior in office you are in fact encouraging such..People have to get involved in what they feel is wrong, from the local and state level to the federal. Term limits is just another way of telling the American people "you are not smart enough to vote me out of office" so we will pass another law to enforce and take away some more of your freedom.. One person can do little or nothing at all to effect change but collecttivly there is no limit to what we can accomplish... I know, trying to get americans to act in unison is like trying to organize a can of fishing worms, but if we ever give up and say it does not matter, our great republic is doomed....
