in simpler words...With my GST I only use the clutch when I am in a tight area & need total accuracy as to when I stop & go but other then that which isnt to often I never use the clutch. I usually select my gear (usually 6) & I start out from a stand still in 6 & just operate in that speed & use my left arm to quickly change directions. If I feel 6 is to fast or to slow for the condition I am in, I just quickly tap the shifter lever either back or forward while moving without the clutch. the other nice thing that I like about the GST is that it has a foot pedal excellerator like a car which obviously an HST doesnt have. I love the GST.

I guess it's just the way the dealer turns the stuff in. I was accepted for my Kubota load in 1 hour flat & my payment book was mailing to me emmediatly which gave me plenty of time before my first payment was due. I was at my dealer yesterday getting a minor repair done on my Loader valve, I told them about the problem retcol had. He said that even thought the loan was a done deal that there is still some final paper work that the dealer has to send in before they will send you the payment book. He said it is common for the dealer to do this once a month & just turn them all in at once so if you bought your machine right after he had just turned in the prior months sales papers, you would have to waite.
One thing I will say that I was impressed with was I brought the tractor in because I had detent problems with my loader joystick, intially the dealer said they doubted Kubota would warrenty it because it was a wear & tear item. When I went to pick it up at the end of the day they told me that Kubota was going to cover it. I was impressed as I was fully willing to pay the bill. The best part is the joystick works smoother & faster now. I am pleased!

I would demand it before taking delivery. You wont be able to sell the original bucket to easy & the quick attach bucket has to be over $600. Why waste money? I think the dealer wants to unload it because he knows if he doesnt soon, he'll be stuck with it because everyone wants the Quick attach.

I agree with stephenR, I had them installed in my kitchen last year, Cost me $5500 & that included delivery & installation & I have 32' of counter & they are the standard width.

i purchased A jd 7 BACKHOE brand new in 01' for my 99' JD790 & when I decided it was time to upgrade to a larger tractor, I traded the whole TLB in & they gave me a good trade in value. they told me they would have givin me $5000 less with no backhoe & this was just this last summer so it did make a large difference sell it as a package.

for about a hundred bucks you can buy a rubber cutting edge & remove your metal one till spring. They are thick & strong but wont harm the asphalt. You can buy them at www dot rubbercal dot com

LOL...i hear ya, but I dont even plow my own driveway. By the time I get done working from the storm, I've had about 25 hours of plow time in & I dont want to do anymore. It takes at least 8" of snow to get me to clear my own stuff.

I am most likely going to mount a curtis or sims cab on my Kubota for next winter. I use the Kubota to plow a large condo complex & I am constantly back blading a half inch off cars, buildings & garage doors etc. I am wondering if the cab with effect my view at all with the blade? I am constantly hanging my head a little to the side to get a clear view of the edge of my blade. Any input would be helpful.

You both have valid pionts. Seems like being extra, extra carefull might be the answer? Maybe that means do not leave a running sink under any circumstance? Just a suggestion not trying to insult anyone. In September my washing machine drain backed up from a glog. We werent home. The floor now needs to be replaced so we are in the same irritated boat Ken.

Frank - When we dod my kitchen floor we tie strpped the tubbing to metal mesh which comes in rolls...simular to chicken wire only thicker. We rolled the metal mesh outfirst & stacked it down, then we ran the same tubbing that dk is speaking of. We ran it like a radiator zig zaging the lines & spaced them about 12" apart. then the concrete gets poured over the whole thing. the tubbing is about 3" under the surface. If you wanted to bolt something to the floor after is was poured...I would suggest making a diagram of exactly where each tube is like first pipe starts 3' 4" from outside eastside wall & 12" apart from there. Or depending on what your mounting to the floor use a bolt that you will only penetrate 2" into the concrete.

I have 2 stlyes...one style is what the murf meister is describing which is a round 8" foot, the other is acually a miniature ski its about 3" wide & maybe 8" long. The shafts that they are welded to are the same size to be universal with any plow.
