i have a kioti 3054 it has 230hrs on it, have probs with the front wheels<br>cracking,the clutch has started slipping, and dont ever let your battery<br>die, its a pain in the butt to jump start or change out.had to change the<br>water reserve it begain to leak after 100hrs.but other than that it does<br>the job.ps have the backhoe attachment not worth the time it takes to<br>attach it. use a shovel you will finish the job sooner.

How many hours are too many when buying a used tractor? I realize this is an open ended question but how about some guidelines. Assuming that a seller had no maintenance records to prove any claims, what number of hours would be too risky. Assume also that a thorough inspection of oil, coolant and running operation turned up no suspicious clues. As an example, 100K miles on a car that is well maintained may not be excessive but on one with no history would be very questionable. I'm searching for some pearls of wisdom from all you experts out there.

New to the game sorry if this is a repeat question but I can't find the information I need and have no close dealers as I live in the boonies. I understand the B7 series is the little brother to the B17.. B20.. series. When looking for a used tractor I'm faced with a whole array of B7... numbers can anyone lay them out in chronological order or explain them? Can these little machines handle a hoe?

Does anyone have experience with a Honda H6522 Compact tractor? What about backhoes on these small machines? Are they strong enough? Is the backhoe practical? or would it just scratch the ground. I would like to dig in soft sand ( a spade sinks to the top if stepped on ) I'm in the market for one but it needs to be small enough to float across a lake on a barge to a remote cottage site. Backhoe attachment important. Have had experience with older borrowed Yanmar and liked it but have never seen another advertized. <br>This message moved from the machinery chat page.
