Is harbor freight a on line or catalog co ? Or did you buy it locally ? Sounds like just what I'm after. Most of the ones with the Hondas I see are 6 hp and 22 ton but that varies with each company. Dave

My neighbors recently started driveing a truck. They had asked me about them for the last several years and I guess they finally decided to take the plunge. Right after the lights went out many of the intersections were either dark or gave false signals from some temporary power source for several minutes. Many people through out the Detroit area were killed in auto accidents over the outage which is a topic the news seems to have avoided searching for the sole looter to boost the media hype. Any how they were brodsided in the front quarter panel. Dad has a broken arm in two places, daughter has a broken collar bone, mom has several broken ribs. We were trying to talk over the genset which is not exactly quiet. Sounds like they were all out for a few minutes and dont remember anything. They said the witnesses estimated the other drivers speed at 80 mph and I think he was DOA. I think they are sold on trucks as he said several times if they had been in the car they would all be dead. When the power is out every intersectionis to be treated as a four stop. Most people understand this but I personally saw several drivers blow right through intersections, The trouble was not electricity it was the me first mentality. Again.

I'm gonna put it to the test next weekend. Assumeing of course I dont have to spend next weekend up all night watching and filling a generator again. I had big plans for tractor useage this past weekend. RATS !

I use ice cold bud as a fuel additive in mine. I dont really understand why a intelli panel would NOT be able to be repaired more or less than the electronic gizmos on any other tractor. Like it or not electronic components are the future.

Rj, I was under the impression that the 4010 should be about $800 more. 2k is not worth it over the 2210, no way. If you are going tp pony up the extra $ cough up 3k over the 2210 and get a 4115. I priced those so I know we are right in that ball park on the 2210 Vs the 4115. That is a real tractor frame, nice weight, small frame, better loader specs, better pump. folding rops, adjustable rock shaft AND 20 pto hp. Below this model they all compromise one way or the other in my opinion. I know for many 3k is a big leap but it likely wont make a big payment difference and remember this for most is a machine that will be in the family many years.

I got the hemi back today. Thet replaced a number of tranny parts either missing or defective. Either way all is working well. Service was fast and Friendly.

Kws, good point. I assume though average is the average of all JD consumers for example. The vast majority by sheer number will be lawn mower purchasers, and then I agree completely. But as the cost of the item goes up I think that the consumer is more aware, imagine the cost increases on commercial JD stuff, Hitachi and all the other labels they own...YIKES !

Does NH have any good financeing deals right now ? There are a LOT of fans of that model/line by NH. I trust you test drove the others. This sounds silly but it is so critical when shopping but yet it is a step for some reason many skip. Sounds like a good choice to me either way.

I think both art and Murf have solid points. There is a BIG gap between sheep and ground crops, Garlic or Angora goats. I guess we would also need to know how much acerage as well as topography and soil type,etc. Theese are all great points for any newbie to consider.

Are you just wanting to mow with it ? At those prices it would seem one of the new JD's at the Home depot or a cub cadet would be the ticket. The prices I see the models you mentioned sell on eBay for make me cringe. WOW ! $$$

All the Fords I have had indicted adding 4 oz of graphite. I think the Dodge does as well but its so new yet I haven't double checked. No mention of it in my owners manual. If I remember right the LS in the Duramax is actually made from a graphite plate or something different than the historical standard. I have been very happy with the mobil 1 synthetics so I will be useing their gear lube. I did top off with a Valvoline synthetic but I intend to drain that out. I would use Delvac 1 if I could find it at a reasonable price but wally world here finally has the Rotella synthetic at 12.88 a gallon.

I sure wish some of you guys with the CK20 would get some photos up ! I hear they have been in short supply in the HST version but are supposed to start arriveing at dealers soon. Is anyone willing to confess what they paid for one and if they got the 3 year 0% financeing ? They look like real nice machines. I have noticed that both Kioti and Mahindra have been getting aggresive with the financeing and full page ads in magazines.
