I've been looking for a good fast lawnmower. I've got about a 4 acre yard to mow and I'm not the kind of guy that likes to mow. Sometimes the grass does get kind of tall. That said, I found a used Kubota ZD18 with 148 hours on it for 6 grand. You guys that know mowers a lot better than I do, is that a good price?<br>

I agree with what you're saying EW. The thing is if you put another model ROPS, say JD 4115, on the Yanmar KE-4, someone would be in the same boat. ROPS are engineered for a specific model.

If you have access to one, use an air impact wrench. It'll be off in a blink of an eye.

First off, if he ran the tractor at 2500 RPMs that would amount to about 540 RPMs at the PTO (mower). No damage there.

Second, I'd take the blades back off and check each blade for damage. Sounds like he may have hit something and not telling you about it.

What I'd do is sell/give away the house to be moved. If it's livable and I'm assuming it is since you are living it it? That part wasn't real clear so excuse me if I assumed wrong.

Anyway, if it's worth moving, it won't cost you anything.

You got me there Dennis. All I can say is so far so good. Even if it starts giving me problems, it takes about 30 seconds to change the settings back to default.

With IE 6 it takes 11 seconds to load http://tractorpoint.com/cgi-bin/tractor/today.pl

Using Firefox 2 and the new settings, it takes 7 seconds.

crunch, there's a lot of ifs, ands or buts here. You say you want a 110 plug-in and your well pump wiring is closest? That's where I'd start, that is if this line is hot all the time? This motion light isn't gonna draw much of anything but I don't know about your battery maintainer. What I'd try is two separate 110 plug-ins. One off L1 and one off of L2. This way if both came on at the same time they wouldn't share the same hot wire.

It really boils down to amp draw, wire size and breaker size. The well pump is gonna pull some pretty good amps but only for a few seconds at a time, at start up. The other two aren't gonna pull much at all.

Got up at 5:30 this morning and walk about 1/2 of a mile through chicken houses. Came back to the house and had a few cups of coffee, watch a little TV and bout took a nap. Then went back and adjusted the feed and water lines. Got the mail and weeped over the electric bills and here I am.

propilot, my guess would be these smaller CUTs aren't built as tough as the bigger CUTs. So they set the relief to release before something goes bad or really bad. Art can give you a more decisive answer cause he knows these machines.<br>
