I looked at this and said that I would get back to you. The brackets look straight forward and the kit should include everything that you need for the install.

I will check to see if their are any special notes on bleeding the system. I suspect that you do not bleed the system, since dangerous pressures are involved. You would work the loader up and down a few strokes to clear the air out of the cylinders. But, I will check for you.

Remember to get some extra hydraulic/transmission fluid.

I have a NH TC45 4WD 12X12 Synchro Shuttle Transmission and R4 tires

I have about 30 hours on the tractor...no problems.

Implements...758C Backhoe, Landpride 1584 blade, 16LA loader with quick attach plate, pallet forks, 72" bucket, Fred Cain sub-soiler

I would buy this tractor again. I bought from Western Tractor in Albuquerque. There are only two or three NH dealers in the entire state.

My wife showed me a Kubota ad when I was looking at Bobcats. I decided the compact tractor thing made sense. I grew up on a farm with Deere equipment, but could not come to terms with the local JD dealer. With NH I got a lot more tractor for less money and did not have to put up with the "take it or leave it attitude."

I started with smaller tractors, but got up to the larger frame tractors to handle large FEL loads. I build things out of metal.

Don't think the release bearing is greasable. There is a section in the operator's manual showing all the components that need lubrication, and the throw out bearing is not mentioned. There is also an inspection cover in the bell housing, I removed the cover and looked inside, didn't see any zerks.

I don't use it a lot, but I have a Savage 24V which is 20ga under a .222 rifle barrel. I should have the .222 rechambered to .223 which I shoot a lot more. This is a nice gun to take on desert camping trips.

I also have a Springfield Armory survival gun. It would certainly qualify in the top ten for the most butt ugly guns in history, but the .410 combined with a .22 LR barrel is a nice combo to keep in an airplane or truck. I keep few .410 slugs along with a few birdshot loads with it.

I would agree with your dealer, the bx is a great machine, but for the property size you are dealing with and the tasks you have in mind the b7500 may still be small. The bx is much less powerfull than the 7500. When you compare engines you really need to look at displacement not HP. HP is meaningless as a method of measuring work. Additionally, tire size is very important. You must have a effective means to transfer the HP to the ground. The bigger the tire the better (also important as you will want to fill your tires to balence the fel). Good luck and let us know how you make out.

Is there a Yanmar model with a mid pto? If not, is there a conversion kit available? I'm looking at compacts, but if I can't mount a belly mower on it, looks like Kubota or Kioti is the way I'm gonna go.

The pump on this engine runs directly off the cam. I don't see any way of adjusting it. The fuel cam runs both the fuel pump and injector pump. I set the pump timing to just begin to show fuel in the nozzle seat on the injector pump for #1. Soon as it gets a tiny bit wet I checked and the 1-FI mark lined up with the mark on the trans housing. Small adjustments can be made to the injector pump timing by adding or removing shims under the injector pump. I believe I've got it on time. I've got the right gasket between the fuel pump and the block and the manual
doesn't say anything about adjusting the fuel pump itself although I'm guessing that since it runs straight off the camshaft it's not adjustable in any way, only the injection timing. Hmmm. I haven't really focused on the fuel pump much as the source of the problem but what you are saying makes a lot of sense. I wonder if the pump on the rebuild engine is wrong... I've got the old pump laying around, I'll compare the two. Yes, I agree that I think I've got a few different problems compounding each other and making diagnosis tough. Thanks everyone for helping me with this. I sure hope I get it licked soon, it looks like I'm growing hay out front !

The brush hog and tiller will use the pto horsepower. The hoe will not use any amount of horsepower to speak of.

I mentioned cement fiber siding before. I wanted to point out that they also make cement fiber siding shingles. This stuff looks great on houses in the woods. It gives a traditional shingled cottage look but it won't burn.

I just got an email reply from what I guess is Land Pride. "we do offer a storage stand for the post hole diggers. This can be purchased from your local dealer and have it delivered.
The part number is 317-142a" I will call my parts contact at the John Deere dealer and see what the story is. Thanks for the heads up Murph.

John if power and not top end speed is your goal, putting larger tires on your Mule will not achieve what you want unless you lower the gear ratio in accordance with the increase the tires will create.
