Anyone seen or been on the Grand L 4630 or Grand L5030? I am trying to narrow it down and it seems there is $1,000 difference in price based on 3.5 hp difference.

Most of my tools are digger, Back Hoe, Tiller, Bush, Hos so it appears it may not be worth the extra $1,0000.

What do you all think?

The brush hog and tiller will use the pto horsepower. The hoe will not use any amount of horsepower to speak of. ....

botics -
A friend of mine just received a lease unit, a new L4630. Similarly, he plans to do what your planning to use it for.

I cannot see why you would need to go bigger yet. The 4630 affords plenty of power to drive a post hole digger with plenty of might to spare, and as far as a bush hog, unless the hog would be HUGE in size, the 4630 works real good from what I witnessed. He presently has a six foot bush hog.

The tiller will probably use the most power, however, you'll be operating it at a considerably slower pace than that of the hog. As I have used the tillers for many years now, though on smaller machines, they do suck down power if conditions are right,99% of the time...you won't even notice it behind you.
