I have a YM240 that does the same thing. The clicking noise you hear is the rachet in the PTO that prevents the PTO driven implement's momentum from pushing the tractor. A lot of tractors don't have this safety device built in. The noise concerned me until I found out what it was.

I got the NH backhoe because it attaches to the frame nice and solid and has a quick disconnect setup. I haven't detached it or the loader yet, so I have yet to experience how easy/hard it is. But it just takes removal of two pins to get it off. Don't have the paperwork here, but I think I paid $5400 for it.

I think you meant 4200. The 4100 doesn't really compare to the B2710 and I don't think it will take a 420 loader.<br>Anyway, JD 4200, HST, folding ROP's, R-4 tires, 420 loader with HD 61

Thanks for reply, have no problem getting on with things! As a first time tractor owner I just dont know what to expect from the tires. Are they more likely to be damaged than a auto tire? Can they be damaged by running over a sharp rock? Are there other tires that will hold up better?

I bought a new 3320 last December. It only took me a week to figure out that this was a good tractor, so I bought a second 3320. Zetor tractors were first introduced in the U.S. in 1983 and the same importer has been importing them since 1985. Deere doesn't own any of Zetor, but they signed a license agreement with Zetor in 1993 to market

"Green" and "red" Zetors are made in Brno, Cz., and "green only" Zetors are made in Saltillo, Mex. My Zetor dealer has a very large inventory of parts. I paid $11,900 for each of my 3320's. I recently acquired a Holder, Model A12, 4 wheel drive articulating tractor with a one cylinder 2 cycle diesel engine. Some of the engine parts are missing. Does anyone have any information on these tractors or know of a parts source? Thanks!

HI everyone I have been searching for a page like this and finally found it!! I run a membership club on a lakefront. I do everything from haul docks in and out the water to mow the lawn. I want to get a machine that can handle some road maintence and help me dig drainage ditches, spread sand, install fence, etc. I have about 8.5 acres (about 4 acres is woods). I have read many of the posts and have gotten alot of info. I have about 10,000 to spend and wanted to get some informed opinions on suitable machines. I realize I`m looking at a used machine but are there certain older models to look out for (ie kubota w/3# model #). It seems to be hard to find a used machine with backhoe and loader, should I keep looking or is it worthwhile to get an aftermarket hoe (w/subframe). I realize that many of you have answered these question before so I appreciate everyone`s time. Thanks in advance. Paul

I paid 17.9k for 4300, folding rops, 4wd 12/12 sync with AG's and 430 loader,<br>no mid pto. Didn't really haggle 'cause the dealer is a neighbor and I thought<br>I better stay on his good side. Sure enough, this 4300 got the recall for transmission,<br>and we are trying to schedule the work. In creeper gear when it's hot, it wants to<br>back up even with the sync in neutral. Not good. I have confidence that dealer<br>and Deere will make it right. Dealer had a small fire in his shop and is a little<br>overwhelmed right now. I have not seen any of the problems regarding lack of<br>power in high range, but I don't have the hst. Hi Barry, we have had vey good service and experience with the L2650s and later models. We see very few L2550s. I suggest you test drive and demo the unit with a pto implement to make sure the 2 stage stage clutch (for live pto) is operating properly.While you are doing the demo - what the hour and your wrist watch to assure yourself of the

Just saw a B6000 at Hugh Gardner Equip, LaPlata, MD. They were asking $1500 for tractor and Woods belly mower. <br>Everthing seemed in good working order, but an 11 horse power mower semed a little underpowered.<br>They also confirmeed the PTO runs in reverse direction. Mower was driven off front crankshaft with electric clutch.

Hi Catfish, Well here goes, I test drove a total of 4 new Kubota L3010's at dealers within a one hundred mile area from my home. The first tractor I drove was great looking and I had waited for 6 months to see one. I drove it on very hard packed crush and run in the dealers yard. The tractor was fine in low and middle range, when I put it in high range the tractor moved off fine but when it reached 2200-2300 rpm it died. I drove back to the owner and told him what had happened and he stated I must have done something wrong? It was a hyrdro (I've been using one for 4 years but hey maybe?) and he jumped on the unit and took off across the yard. I saw him stop and then turn around to come back. He turned the tractor off and stated

One dealer even went as far as to say that the L3010 was an entry level tractor for that size catogory and that I shouldn't expect it to pull full RPM' about 2800 because of it's weight. Well I went back out and spent the day driving other units. Two of the other units did the same thing and one pulled to 2400 RPM or so. Well I called Kubota back and told a dif. person in the same department of the problem( the first person was out of the office that day) and I asked if he would like the E-Mails I had recieved. He said NO! there wasn't any problem as he understood. Well I called back a third time and left a message on the first persons line telling him of the problem again asked him to call back and guess what, NO CALL BACK, I have heard from about 30 people so far and have only gotten back 4 replies that say they don't have this problem. Now math isn't really my strong point but then again you don't have to be a mental giant to figure this one out. Many more negative responses to the post then good. So go figure, who knows what the reason is but the overall complaint still stands "Why doesn't this unit pull Full RPM'S in high gear. I have thought about all the reasons and breakin may have been an answer but many of the responses stated they had hrs. on their units and they still did the same thing, no full pulls. "Well thats my story sad but true!! So there's the problem, I know Kubota is a great tractor, hell I've been around them for many years and thats what I bought when I made my first purchase. But I'm now looking to buy a non Orange unit, to bad I love my Bota. Hope this long ass post answered your question. Scaper

I have a 1996 35DI TAFE. I wouldn't trade it for anything. If you like Massey Ferguson, then you'll like the TAFE. TAFE makes them for M.F.up to 45 horsepower.

I've got 2 Rhino flail mowers. One is a 74-inch cut and the other is an 88-inch cut. Rhino is made in Seguin, Texas where I live. You can't buy directly from them, you have to use one of their dealers I wouldn't trade either of these mowers. They are well built and parts (when you need them) are easy to get. I do a lot of mowing with these mowers and I change the blades once a year. The blades are reverseable, so half-way through the mowing season I reverse them, then in the off season I put on new ones.
