I have a 2020 New Holland Powerstar 75. It has a 710LU FEL. With the bucket in the down position while trying to push material it takes very little pressure for the bucket to give and just fold under. <br>

Very irritating! I have a friend with the 65 hp version that has the same issue. I am assuming this was designed with pressure relief valves to prevent linkage damage. <br>
<br>
Problem is I do not want that. Is there a way to adjust the pressure it can hold or to deactivate the pressure relief capability?<br>

It seems like the backhoe is jumping the most. The hiccup is strong enough to make it hesitate for a split second but overall performance is not effected.

I am 77 and still drive tractors for myself and my neighbor. We bale about 500 rolls each year. I have no immediate plans to stop. In fact, I am anxious to get started this year. I think that most of us have a clock in our head to measure what we are capable of doing. I try to be safe and cautious in what I do. If hooking up is going to be difficult, I wait for assistance from someone or plan in advance. The one thing I will not do by myself any longer is my post hole attachment. I almost lost a finger about five years ago so it has my attention and respect.

I just purchased eBikes for myself and my wife. She is only 61 and she still runs. I had an accident and cannot run any longer but I can still ride a bike. What I have discovered with the eBike (battery assisted while you pedal) is that I can bike hills and enjoy the ride a lot more while gradually getting back in shape. We ride the Pedego bikes and they have a trottle to help you get away from dogs and danger.

One of my neighbors referred to me as an "elderly gentleman" last year and it broke my heart. I still don't think of myself as being "old".

I still farm, run my own business, do my own taxes and those for others in my family and keep active. One of these days, I might even retire, but not for a few years yet. I even wrote a book last year. It took 12 months for me to find the time to write 375 pages.

Keep up the faith and the pace old timers! God still loves us!

It doesn't really have anything to do with it other then the speed of the raise and lower.

Before you do that however find a service manual for your tractor and run the tests
For your hydraulics listed in the manual. It will show you based on results where to start.

Again if test results show faulty rockshaft control valve, odds are it's the screen that
got blown into the rockshaft control valve

When warm the hydraulics start to hiccup every 20 seconds or so. It doesn't effect performance. Any ideas on what might be causing it? (Low oil level, bad seals?)

I have moss along the last one foot of my driveway width. So I have several hundred square feet of moss.<br>

Over the years I have removed the bulk with a snow scraper, then pressure washed what was left. And then sprayed the area with a bleach solution.<br>

Is there another way to do this which is either easier or better or longer lasting?

A neighbor of mine had a 2wd Honda 5518 that he loved except he cursed its lack of traction. I convicced him that 4WD would make all the difference in the world.

He found a dealer that sold Honda yard equipment who took his tractor on consignment and sold it for a commision.

He then bought a Kubota BX 4WD and has been one happy camper for 17 years.

The brakes on these tractors are almost never ever used unlike on a car. On a car you are free wheeling and have a ton of weight and speed and heat. On your BX that is not the case.<br>

Forgetting to release the brake is not going to cause you any problems. But do not keep doin it :-(<br>

Thanks for your help again yes I figured out that it was a grey market tractor the 2 cylinder diesel was just rebuilt professionally and it had a nice loader from bush hog I loved how narrow it is 50inchs I'm a stone mason and getting up sidewalks is a bonus so yes I bought it it runs great and so far no leaks except for some hydrologic lines witch I will replace. Already bought a finish mower a back blade and I had a post hole digger cleared 2 acres of small trees with it last week I'll be in touch when I need parts thanks again for your help you kind of convinced me not to be too scared of the grey market tractors

The only thing I did was remove the stone guard which reduces wet nsow clogging immensely.

Also being sure to coat the auger and chute with silicone or other spray seems to help a lot.
