My dealer is having problems getting the sub frame for my B7800 . Does anyone have a BH 75 on a B7800?

I'm looking at trading off the BX2230 for a larger tractor. I'd love a 3030 with cab, but, well $$$. Does anyone have any thoughts on the merits of the B7800 verses the B3030/2630? What about the L's?<br>

I'd like to stay with Kubota, (been good to me) but if there is something else in the 30 hp range that is not a grey or Chinese, I would look too.

Thanks, I missed it on the .pdf, or I was looking at a different one. As far a shear pins go - I have a walk-behind 30" 2-stage, and I replace one every time I do the gravel driveway. Pain in the butt. The JD4110 has solved that issue so far, as I've been using the FEL and or the box scrape (in reverse) to move snow this winter.<br>

You may have a "mid" pto, which is used for various implements. Dont know how new your tractor is, but I run my front end snowblower at about 2000rpms. Should be switches to go from one to the other if you have both.

As stated above, I do love my wife, but there are times taht push limits. Last night it was the microwave. See, the microwave is one of them over the stove types. So, hypothetically, if your wife leaves the microwave door open while you are squating down to get a pan you will seriously brain yourself when you stand up. I still have a red mark on my head from the impact point (baldness highlights head injuries). In fact, I still have a dull headache and the top is tender. I'm glad the baby isn't able to repeat words yet. She'd have gained some serious new vocabulary!

The problem for us non-dealers is it's getting difficult to get used tractor pricing info online. There used to be a site that had that data but they stopped publishing it. A good sanity check is to go to machinefinder dot com and look up comparable machines that are for sale. Note that the prices there are dealer prices so take that into account.

jdcman, I'll try to post some specifics in the next week or so. I'm gathering data to take to a lawyer. The heat pump started tripping on a water flow fault light over the weekend but the pumps are running and water pressure is good. <sigh>

AndyH, $2k/year for a 7k foot house? Our electric bill for just january was $320 and we have the cheapest electrical rates in the country. I've jettisoned the outdoor wood stove idea because of smoke issues. We don't want to live in a cloud of smoke and there's no way to know up front how much smoke there will be.

Well I have been torture testing my Gator. The steering column is now loose and rattles in the bearing or shackle in there. Any suggestions as to tightening or repair? 2003 model.<br>

I also have a LK3054. I've got 300 hours on it and I've used it for loader work, brush/grass cutting and I have a Farmi winch that I've been logging pine logs up to 24" in diameter and the tractor has had no major problems except for a sight glass for the transmission leaking, which was a matter of getting one ($2.50) and installing it in about 15 minutes. I did have to add front weights and tire chains for working in the snow (logging), but it's a very capable tractor.

Mines a vintage 77' on it's second tire with the first after being tubed lasted till about 98' when the dry rot got to bad and I didn't trust it any more when it was replaced by a new tire and tube and it stays up all the time even when in freezing temps. Tractor's are always available for heavy work but has some concrete in a few spots abd a whole about the size of a dime in the bottm thats going to get some coat hanger melted in it this summer. Have a little four wheeler wagon that probably is a 80 on it's original rubber that was tubed but on it's second deck which broke from when using it to move side walk slate. It's a good wagon for most all jobs and was expensive at the time probably 150 but it's been well used for most everything with removable wooden sides.

Regarding your note on the dealer supplied 2004 Kubota.

It's really tough to negotiate a near brand new Kubota with loader and BH as you describe. 45 hours? that's a baby. I never did find the equivalent to NADA used guide for tractors.
What's your reason to offer 15K? how do you justify that price?
Seems to me that's a lot of cash for a whole lot of tractor. Final price is just between you and the dealer frankly, walk in with cash to make an impression.
If he doesn't accept, you walk I suppose.
Right now, with springtime 2 months away dealer can sit tight and wait for the spring ;enthusiasm; to occur where buyers think about landscaping.
Better off working a Kubota finance deal (new)so as not to place so much cash down at once. Best of lick.

The are definately comming. $5/gallon for aircraft gasoline will not sustain a market for very long.

This one (link below) is already certified in the new Diamond Twin Star and will soon be available (if not already) as STC in Cessna and Piper singles.

to answer your question, No, I do not believe that you will be able to weld 1/8 in AL with stick. Stick bites into the metal to much to be feasable for that thin of AL. TIG OR MIG IS YOUR BEST ALTERNATIVE. Sorry for the rambling.

Well, I would say real close to loosing control over the judicial brach, as the Supreme Court still has 5 social communists that can block Scalia, Thomas, Roberts, and Alito. Still a HUGE step in the right direction. I have my doubts about Roberts but in fairness he should be given the opportunity to prove his track record.
