This BX24 and the new BX2350 are narrower (width - 32.3") than the older BX23 / BX2230 (45in wide). That makes a lot of difference when choosing the implements: for example, if I put a 48" brush hog on the old BX2230, I'd have to drive the tractor really close to a fence if I wanted to bring the brush hog right next to the fence, but on the new BX2350 or BX24, my 48" brush hog would cover a lot more ground outside of the tracks. That makes for a more versitile BX tractor, I think. Am I reading the numbers right? ....

I don't know how they are measuring (center of tire tread?) the 2250, but I don't think they are any narrower than the 2200/2230 chassis. The BX is tippy enough with an FEL, so making them narrower would cause alot of potential legal issues. ....

The problem (in addition to my ignorance) is that Kubota.com spec sheets are not standardized for all the models. So they give you tread width in one spec sheet and overall width in another. So I'm not sure what I'm comparing. ....

There is NO WAY the machine width is 32.3". That's just not possible. My guess is that the width is identical to the older models. I would further postulate that much of the new machines are interchangable with the old models. The "redesign" looks more like a "facelift" to me, to put it in automotive industry terms. New skin, new features and options, same iron underneath.

I agree that Kubota needs to standardize their spec sheets. It's really annoying to try and compare apples to oranges! Are you reading this Kubota?!?! ....

Ever notice how similar the Agco ST22A is to the Kubota BX?

Look closely at the frame and front axle - coincidence?? I think not. Re-Badge city. ....

Close but no cigar.

I see the similarities you pointed out but I see more differences. The basic specs don't quite match up either (HP, 3PH cap., hydraulic pump output, etc.)

Besides, I have never heard of a rebadged Kubota in sold N. America. Agco is Massey Ferguson's parent company. If anything it's a rebadged GC2300. ....
