Check out your fuel consumption per hr. I think that you will need a larger tank. I know that I wouldn't have anything less that a 300 gallion for what you are using it for.

There is no tractor lemon law as such. BUT there is the Federal Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act. If you would still like to get rid of this tractor have your lawyer look in to this act. It has been used successfully on several lemon tractors and other equipment.

Wal-Mart like your tractor dealer, has suggested pricing. the individual store may lower the prices to match the local competition. If there is no local competition then the price is the price set by Bentonville.

When at the Massey dealer look at a MF243. It is a better tractor with more capability, but can still be had at a reasonable price. You can get 4wd in it also. You will need 4wd, if you are doing any heavy loader work with this size of tractor.

I would like to know how Agco/Massey/etc. stands behind their warranties. Has anyone had a major problem that the Corporate boys have been involved in? If you have, how did they handle it? Do you think that they handled it the way they should have?

I just sent you a e-mail with a schematic of how the loader and backhoe are connected on my tractor. Both with and with out the backhoe, the rear lift will work when connected like these show. Look them over and see if they help.

My dealer said that the loader off of a MF 1250 would fit if the attaching brackets were changed to the brackets for a 1433. I don't know if that will help any or not. The 1400 series are so new, that the after market may not have them in there book yet. I would contact some of the manufactures and ask them. I bet that they have them ready or are in the works.

Tell us a little about the six acres. Is it rough, smooth, rocky? How tall is the grass? Is there brush or small bushes that are being mowed? How tall is the grass and what is the density of grass?

One of the reason that the tractor manufactures don't increase the weight of the compacts is because, If they shipped them that much heavier we wouldn't be able to use them for as many different operations. If they were all 1-2000 pounds heavier, it would change if they could be used for lawn maintenance etc. By making them light they are letting the customer set it up of their individual need.

In the poultry business, we sometimes use acid is used to neutralize the ammonia on the house floors. I would think that a vinegar solution might do the trick. I don't know, but it would be worth a try and it is cheap.

All AGCO and MF compacts are made by Iseki. If memory serves me right, the ST35 is the same tractor as the MF 1433 that has replaced the MF 1250. <br>

I would take it to a welding shop and have them straighten it. Then have them reinforce it and put on a couple of hooks.

Have you tried to locate the original owner. The tractor did come with all of the parts. I'm sure that they were removed when the backhoe was installed. I could do quite a bit of research for $1000.
If that fails, see if you can get the parts as a kit from MF whole goods.

If you will let the brakes off and or have it out of gear it should lift the front wheels. That way it can roll as it lifts and not try to lift the whole tractor.
