I need to make a decision on a New Holland by Wednesday (June 30th) on a tractor to get discount pricing and 0% interest. I had about made my mind up on a HST TC30 4wd, but after reading some posts I'm somewhat confused. For the same money I can get a TC35 but in 2wd. What makes the TC29 4wd so much better than the TC30? Will do light landscaping and maintain my 4.5 acres.

Can't help ya with the New Holland question but I'm sure there is a good New Holland man around here somewhere. I don't think you have to hurry though. I have a feeling the deals will stay the same or get better for a while. ....

If you are going to be using a FEL, 4wd is a must. You will be very disappinted with the limitations of the 2wd, and as previously said, the resale will kill you. ....

Thanks for the advice guys! For a first time tractor buyer this is invaluable information. I think I might go ahead and have the dealer install a FEL. Does anyone know how much I should expect to pay for the FEL to be installed at time of purchase? ....
