After getting tractor started it runs great Issue is I have to prime a good bit to get it to start .
A day later very hard to start within a few hours it starts fine.
Could this be the fuel Pump?
What is you opinion on this?

I would check that your glow plugs are getting hot.
If runs great after starting I do not think the fuel pump is the issue. ....

Check the injector lines allowing the pressure to leak down. The nozzles could also be leaking down. leaking or cracked lines will give you a visual indication, leaking nozzles will not.
