What type of fluid can i use for the transmission of my gator assuming that the john deere brand is not available. What type of fluid is it,is it The same hy/trans i use in my tractor? Thanks for any help. I have some good kabota fluid will it work

Fluid must conform to J20C spec, which is a John Deere designation. Most all good fluids conform, be sure to check on the side of the container. All new containers have compatibility charts on them. ....
