Hi,
My D1600 is putting out 14.7 + voltage consistently, is there a way to bench test the voltage regulator? It is a 6 wire external model.

Had a problem with my regulator too. A shop checked it out an told me it had to be replaced. A month later, they came up with one. Looked the same, but when I pulled it in, the oil light came on! Plus it was not charging. Brought it back to the shop. They wouldn't take it back, or give me a refund until I brought the tractor in!!!Needless to say, that was impossible. So I'm out $70!!!
Now I just charge the battery every now an then. ....
