i don't know where to check next. I have 12v to starter, but starter won't turn over. When you jump it with a screwdriver the motor runs but engine won't turn over. i put a new solenoid on but it did the same thing.

What happens when you take the red wire off the starter solenoid spade connection and put 12v to it? ....
