I have an IH 284 and the bush hog was raised too high and now I cannot bring it down. It is making a high pitch whining noise and was not doing this until this occurred. Any suggestions?

Does this sound like what yours is doing? I have had a finish mower on my 3pt and went too high, and the 3pt frame of the mower did something weird, I think it was with the chain. The 3pt went down but the mower stayed up in the back. I only raised back up and down a few times and it came out of it. all im saying is Check for a bind first. may God bless it... ....
