Hi. New to site. have a new holland tc29d. 4 wheel drive quit working. dealer said had to seperate tractor and would cost about 1200.00 to fix. any solutions or help would be appreciated. shaft is turning bur not engaging.

If you can shop around at other dealers for their estimates.

It is a significant job to undertake so if you are not eager to screw with it, you are kinda stuck.
