I'm having a problem with my 2005 TS Gator. It starts and runs fine until about 10 minutes into the ride and it shuts off. If I let it sit for 20 minutes, it will start again and run for another 10 minutes. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

TS gators are very simple. When you spin the flywheel it starts, you don't need an electric source. If the problem is electrical I would remove the kill wire from the coil and try it. If it still shuts off, it's the coil, if it doesn't it's the wire. The wire goes to the ign switch to shut the motor off, so anywhere along that wire it could be touching ground, or the switch could be bad. The next time it shuts off, check to see if you still have spark. If it is fuel related, it could be fuel pump, fuel filter, or a carb problem. ....

Thanks for the advice. Another piece of information that might help the diagnosis is that when it shuts off, its not automatic, more of a sputter. Would this rule out the coil possibility? I was originally thinking it was a fuel issue because it would run a little longer (20 feet) if I play with the choke. Thanks again for your help. ....
