I have a 2008 John Deere Gator XUV 620i 4X4 and the parking brake appears to be hung up. The handle goes all the way to the top when applied. There is a squealing noise, the smell of hot brakes, and the parking brake cover is melted.
I suspect that machine was operated with the parking brake applied and the parking brake pads are worn down. It had 110 hours on it before I got it.
Does anyone have any information on the issue or could provide me with information from the service manual to fix the problem?
