When I turn the key to on lights and hydraulic lift work. When I try to start it I get no noise....no starter noise, nothing

May be the neutral start switch on the transaxle. Unplug the switch and put a jumper wire in the plug in the harness and try it. ....

Thank you raider. Harness was gummed up. Hard wired it and it started right up. Would have never looked at that. Thanks again ....
