hey everyone, ive just aquired a john deere amt622 thats in pretty good shape, shes missing the front plastic nose piece(old oner put sheet steel plate over), needs transaxle bearings on front shaft, and has a bent shaft on driver side, other than that she runa amazing and aint rotted out at all, best part is i only paid $200 bucks for it. i was messing around with the hyd dump bed last nite after i removed the old bearings and axles and found it dont go all the way up and it goes up real slow, but when you lower it its actually pretty fast, ive checked the fluid, connections, ect but am unsure if theres a filter in the resivor or not. any one have any ideas? thanks in advance

There is a screen in the unit inside the tank. When you lower the bed it is basically free wheeling and the weight of the bed dictates how fast it goes down. This is done so you can pick it up manually if it or the battery fails. ....
