6x4 Gator dropped off by a friend. Searched all of the posts I could find and tried everything suggested. New plugs with strong blue spark, Jumpered the transaxle, starter relay is good,Fuel pump runs, starter spins, dissassembled carb and cleaned all jets and passages. Removed the inlet tube from the air filter while the carb was off to eliminate that as a possibility. It won't even pop on starting fluid. The only number I saw on the motor was on a sticker on the lower pass side:FD-620 above the bar code. I really am stumped on this one as I have air, fuel and spark...and a full battery, on boost when I'm cranking on it. Thanks in advance for your help.

Chris

If you are getting fuel and spark it should go. Have you checked compression? The only other thing I can think of is a bad flywheel key. Are the plugs wet after you try to start it on full choke? The fact that it won't pop on starter fluid makes me think flywheel key. ....

Pistons look fairly dry and they are moving full stroke (with the plug out I can see the front one moving). Plus the belt and clutch are turning like they should. I work on alot of bikes and generators and this one has me stumped...
