My son-in-law bought me and old used Gator and it has quit starting. The starter says it is a Kawasaki and the solenoid (I think) is a Denso. All the parts sites require that I put in the year of the vehicle and I have no idea what year it is. Found the ID number on the frame and it is W004x2x047353. Does anyone know how to figure out what the year is from this number?

I'm guessing '99 all the 4x2 starters were the same, at least until 2004. AW26844 is the part number. ....

i'd "start" with cleaning all the wire connections. on the starter, ing. switch and everything in between!
corrosion is a common problem.
