I've bought an old (1992?) 6X4 Gator with the Kawasaki FD620D liquid cooled engine. It's in pretty good order except for the engine which had been taken out several years ago as it had an 'unknown fault'. I've since dismantled the engine and have ordered all the parts I need to (hopefully) get it going again. Unfortunately the engine mounts are missing and I don't have a workshop manual for the Gator. Can anybody here help with some part numbers, please?

There are no engine mounts for a FD620D in a 6X4 Gator. The motor bolts directly to the floor pan. There are raised areas in the floor pan to hold the motor in place and it is held down with four bolts. In addition there is a rod that goes between the motor and the transaxle to hold them apart during acceleration. Alot of times the old holes in the case are stripped, I drill them larger and tap them to 3/8 fine thread. The 3/8 bolt will fit thru the existing holes in the floor pan. If you are going to put the motor together I suggest you get a tech manual. TM1518. ....

Thanks a lot for that...... one less thing to worry about. Don't suppose you know where I could get a copy of a workshop manual and/or parts list for the vehicle? ....
