Hi, I am having an issue with my John Deere 4100 w/ 4WD, and HST transmission.

The rubber lines that go to the cooler up infront of the radiator are blowing off. Any suggestions or ideas? Thanks in advance.

Might be a clogged filter that is creating backpressure? Not sure though. There was a guy here with a New Holland that had his cooler and filter blow a leak too. ....

Mendz3; You use the term "lines", is it always the same line or has one blown off then the other? If it is always the same line then perhaps something in the cooler is causing a restriction. If it blows a hose on either side of the cooler, then maybe the return line has gotten pinched. Frank. ....

It first blew the left side hose. So I fixed it, topped of the fluid and tightened the other hose clamps aswell. Shortly there after it blew the hose on the right side off.

Thanks fo the tip on a pinched line, I'll go inspect them now. :) ....

Well pinched line it is. The return line is smashed flat right where it turns to go back into the transmission. Looks like the mower deck came up to far and squished it.

Thank you all for your advice and help. ....
