Does anyone know where I can get a radio and speakers setup for the Curtis soft side cab that I have on my JD 2305? I've checked the Curtis website and their speaker console unit is going for $525. Just wondering if there is something cheaper out there.

TSC or any other agriculture supply company or a good agway should have the self contained radios that are fender mounted and weather proof
Tractor Supply Company has two radios
#tsc6022034 self contained for around $134
#tsc6022042 roof mount for around $154o ....

I had a TSC-like radio and it was junk. Bad reception, bad sound.

I ended up buying radio earmuffs from radio Shack for $30. They might fit the bill if you're going to be in the cold since they'll offer a little ear protection.

If you don't like that idea, try buying a decent model of a boat radio. They're usually in their own enclosure and have a dust/water door that flips down when you're done using it. ....

John Deere is now marketing a Jensen Heavy Duty head unit that retails for around $170 - $185. The head unit itself is a little smaller than a postcard in size is flush mount has I believe (2) weatherbands and all of the hookups for MP3 players speakers etc., it is a really neat unit and is at least worth taking a look at. ....
