I just wanted to let everyone know that i got my BX1850 this weekend and i love it. My wife got on and was able to start mowing within minutes. As short as she is (5-nothing with shoes) she could reach all the controls with no problems. She just doesn't understand the need to all the extra levers. The one and only issue she need was pulling the throttle back.
Did not really get a chance to use it much. Everyone laughed at me when i put on the loader and loaded it with chairs, fishing poles, tackle, and beverages just to go fishing. Then they saw how easy it was and laughed harder.
We did not get it with the new seat, but when the dealer gets it he will bring it down.

Just have to keep her busy mowing and gardening with your tractor and then you can justify that you never get to use it for what you need as she always has it!!! ....

Congrats on the new Toy.
The BX1850 is a nice unit.
It's sort of a half/cross breed between the BX1500 and BX1830 of prior years.
I have a new and a used BX1500 on order now.
