Hopefully Art will answer this question or anybody selling Kubota tractors.Over here in Ohio dealers are telling me on L3400 gear drive tractor the backhoe attachment is a BH75 with frame mount other dealers then say you have to use BH4690 (I think that the number)which is 3pt mounted with a pump hook up which is correct for the L3400 gear-drive tractor? Thanks for any help.

They both are correct for the 3400! My preference is for the BH75 beacuse of the rigid four point mount instead of the three point mount.. It fit's tight to the tractor to cause less torsional flex in the chassis. ....

We haven't done that yet, and at that I would say that there might be some reasons not to. To look at the loader chassis the 513 frame is the lighter of the two loaders. That would be my choice to try it with as with the 3400 being a lighter weight to begin with over the Grand L the 723 might be to much for it. The 513 would not be an advantage over the 463 if you look at the specs so I don't know that I'd want to even go there unless you have another reason. ....

Art thanks for the reply you seem to be knowledgable on the kubotas as I understand with your dealership plus I read alot of your replies to others on there tractors and you realy get into your work. The 463 is the loader for that tractor correct and does the BH75 use a 2 line hook-up from the tractor hyd? Thanks again ....

The BH 75 does hook to two lines that connect to the hydralic system. It is a great system that doesn't hinder the ground clearance of the tractor at all. If you do need a skid steer style disconnect for the loader they are available thru ATI. ....
