Hi I have a B 7200. The charge lite has came on and off since I got it. I slapped the dash and it Fixed it for a awile but it came on and off then dim then bright. I got a wiring dia. and found the ground for the reg. was hooked to the glow plug
monitor screw on the dash. . It was a little loose. Once tightened that one bottom screw my charging problems are gone.

Before wiring dia. I did'nt I checked all the other stuff. I found the dealer I got it from who had checked everything had misplaced the charge bulb or they didn't notice it didn't come on. With the bulb in it was on and off dim and bright. It seemed like I would clean some wires and it would be off for a while. With the dia I saw the ground remembered how slapping it worked. I reached up and found the wire and wiggle wiggle back and forth . I even have a new regulater. . I took the dash off and cleaned every terminal and got 15 years of grit and whetever that other stuff that hides in those places is out.
Like the captian said CHAGE !
