Well, finally did it...bought a curtis cab for the JD 2210 toy..(oops tool, the boss came into the office, she thinks its a tool). Dealer says it will be in around the first week of December. Looking forward to having it installed. Will have heat, lights and wiper. No more cold days or nights clearing the driveway with the blower or frozen hands on the steering wheel. I will post some pics once it is set up

Just did a Curtis Soft Side on the 7810. Installed it ourselves. Having someone else do it will save you about 20 hrs of reading some very poor installation instructions. Very fine product though. Enjoy the comfortable surrounds.

The only thing I would add is get youself a pair of hearing protectors. The cab traps the hydrostat whine something terrible. ....

I just bought a new 3520 with a factory cab about two weeks ago and i ahve been installing things on it from the day o brought it home so i haven't used it yet but think i will love it. I did look at the Curtis cab before buying the 3520 and when JD came out with the cab i sold my 4310. If JD had not came out with the cab i was going to buy the Curtis as i think they make the best cab for the money. Good luck and enjoy.

Whiteturbo,

After reading your post I went to the dealer and looked at the 3520 with the factory cab. Started shaking and asking stupid questions like....how much is it. Got in it and started grinning ear to ear. Loved the heat and A/C, and the filtered cab design. Started coming up with reasons I needed this fabulous tractor. Checked to make sure it would fit in the garage and everything. Then all of the sudden.......I hit the reality brick wall. How am I gonna get this past the finance boss. So I started doing calculations with trade in and such, it really isn't going to cost more.......ha ha. I am very afraid to go back to the dealer at this point. I am afraid I am going to walk (drive) home in a new tractor. Sad thing is, the one I have now works perfect for the situation I have. But I keep seeing myself in this tractor. The salesman knows it too. He has this big smile on his face because he knows it going to happen. Its just a matter of when and if I would survive the tongue thrashing I surely would receive for the next 30 days. But you know what, I can hand 30 days.....hehehehehehe ....

After looking at the 3520 options I guess I'll stick with my 4400 and buy the Curtis cab for it.

JD does not offer the 3520 with a cab and std shift. They can only come with e/hydro, that's too bad. ....

I just purchased a 4720 back in September and now need to figure out how I can get the cab version. Anyone in need of a new 4720 (only 80 hours)? The cabs are really nice and I know I will eventually end up with one real soon. I just don't want to give 4 or 5k away getting rid of my 4720. I keep seeing myself in this cool cab on those hot humid days in July and August, with the mosquitos and bugs on the outside. ....
