I am looking for a 914A Mid Mount Mower for a 1998 1530 that I just acquired. The current mower has seen some hard use, the metal rings for the blades have been knocked out and all three spindles have slop in them. I have seen some on e-bay for TC-18 and TC-21 and wondered if they can be adapted to fit a TC25 - TC33. Any help is appreciated.

Oneace: I have seen the same mowers Boomer1 has seen on e-bay---in the ad they say the mowers will fit TC's by installing different brackets. Why won't this work? (I was considering getting one myself and adapting it to my TC33D. I can fabricate brackets if need be. Is this more than a bracketry issue? ....

The ones of the the class I (tc18,21,24) have different mounting ears on the deck it self they are closer to the center side to side and front to back. I have said before that any thing can be done with the right tools and money, this conversion would just be impractical. ....
