What is the proper oil for trans/hydraulics on Jubilee Ford? I have had some say 80W90 others Universal (303).

A post on this topic at the Yesterday's Tractors forum says Ford 134 (which is their universal trans-hydro fluid) for all three; or 134 for hydraulics, and 80-90 wt for transmission.
Maybe ask the dealer to be sure.

Just universal hyd oil is fine. You do not want to put 80-90W in your hyd system, you will be in big trouble then. ....

Well that is what I thought but I had a guy tell me his 8N worked better on gear oil, maybe it was just wore out or maybe the piston type transmission pump likes the thick stuff. Thanks for the confirmation. I know there are three fill and drain plugs (trans, hydraulic and rear diff) to these stay separate or will the oil pass from one compartment to the other. I didn't look while we had the covers off...

I have always used the 134 oil in my 8N and recommend you do the same.
