Congrats on your purchase. I have the B7500 with the LA302 loader, 4' BB and 5' rake.

This machine is a true work horse, but there are times I wished I upgraded to a large, heavier duty CUT. But those times are few.

One little tip. At first, I was very hesitant to remove the loader, thinking it would be a PITA. I just left it on, and mowed my grass... often clipping tree trunks. Then I removed it. I can tell you, it can't get any easier! It really does come off in less the 3 mintues.

My 302 loader control (4-way hydro-valve) on a B7500 is starting to have a problem when lowering the bucket. No other operation has the problem. <br>

When I push the stick up - nothing happens. Then I push hard, feel a click in the stick, then the bucket drops slowly. It'll happen sporatically, with out without a load. <br>

I checked the fluid, and clean, clear, and full full full. In fact, it's about 1/8 inch above the line on the dipstick. <br>

I thought it may be a sticky valve inside the controller, but the dealer said that no parts are serviceable inside, and that a total control valve replacement is typical.<br>

At $610..... I need more options. <br>

Yardwork - One thing to be careful on about Yanmar's, especially the early models, (of any make for that matter). Many don't come with a rollbar (aka. ROPS).

THESE ARE ABSOLUTELY NESSESSARY! and should not be considered as optional features.

I rolled my 7500 over into a creek last march (due to a soft edge, and yes the water was extremely cold! ) but as I looked up, and saw my tractor heaving towards me, I become 100% convinced that the ROPS system saved my life. I would have been crushed, or pinned underwater by the tractor if it wasn't for the ROPS.

I use a B7500 with a 48" 350lb boxblade (king Kutter), it does a great job at pulling up stones. Plenty of power and weight.<br>

Sure your going to get jolted a few times with you hit a stubborn rock that's buried, but they'll move eventually if you take it slow and easy (and in LOW Lock). The cost to upgrade vs working at it a little longer is your call, but if this is the heaviest work your tractor will do, it may not be needed. <br>

The B series FEL isnt really meant for digging. Especially 12" down. That'll take a while to inch down. I can get down about 3-4 inches max with mine, dump it, and take another scoop. If you wanna dig, perhaps a toothbar would be helpful, but I'm still not sure how much they'll help with a 48" bucket. <br>

My neighbor has one, and for what he does with it (move mulch, crushed stone) it seems to work great. I was curious about them also, but when I saw how easy they were to back into a pile of (something), pull away, and dump it where he wanted, I was impressed.

That's about ALL I'd imagine it can do, but it does it well.

That sounds way too cheap. I have a B7500 w/FEL and 60" MMM, and I paid $9100 at an auction. (102 hrs...just a baby)<br>

Every time i've seen these (outfitted the same) for sale with less then 400 hrs, they typically go for about 9k-$10K. For a dealer to be asking $6500 makes me real curious.<br>

Ask em what's wrong with it. It may have some engine or hydro issues. If nothing is wrong with it.. buy it and sell it on Ebay. Make a clean $3k the easy way.<br>
