Sounds like blow-by, pull the oil filler cap and see if you feel air coming out

After seeing the picture, I can see it is not 4 wheel drive, and it has turf tires. The 4000 price tag makes it marginal for a two wheel drive as to getting your money back if you need too. Turf tires are terrible in snow if that is what you are hoping to use it for, and putting a front end loader on it would also make it a challenge unless you fill the rear tires with fluid. For me, this would be a pass.
Both tractors are at a minimum of 15 years old, and on the B8200, the 16 hp at the PTO makes it difficult to find attachments that would be effective, the 2250 at 21 hp is usable.
All in all, both would be a pass for me. I have a Kubota B2320DT that is 4 wheel drive and without weight on the back end I run it in 4 wheel drive when using the loader. I use it for chores on the ranch, it has a FEL and I use it for snow removal, cleaning corrals and small things which the backhoe is just to big to be effective, also the Kubota is a lot lighter (by 15000 pounds) and I can use it for picking up rocks out of the field after I have planted if I need too without compaction.
Before deciding on this, I worked through what wanted it for, the wife and her garden, what else I could use it for around the property. At 18 hp on the PTO, I can use a rototiller, and a brush-hog and under 2000 lbs even with the FEL, I can get into ground that would be too soft for anything else I own, tire spacing is right I can use it to cultivate as I am trying new spacing on my planters. One plus for this tractor has been I can get 16 hours of operation at near full hp for about 5 gallons of fuel.

That is a true statement, but, it can also be done by putting a meter on the battery while the tractor is running, if the voltage at the battery is between 13 and 14 volts, the alternator is good.

Most of my stuff I have manuals for so I follow the manual, in the case of an unknown, I would follow the most familiar, lastly, I would be conscious of operation, does it seem like doing OK. I think hydraulic systems are less prone to failure than other things when being overfilled.

Lacking much info on this,I would take a look at Tractorhouse.com and compare yours with what you see there. prices range widely even as simply configured as yours appears to be, add about 650 for the brush hog.
It appears the price of yours will be somewhere around 15,000, things that will help, one owner, garaged, proper maintenance records, condition.
Another source you might try is Machinery Pete, don't know if he tracks small stuff like this, but if he does, he will have records for what these items have sold for at auction in your area.

"You have 12 Volts at the ignition", I am sorry here, I don't know what you mean, I thought the 7235 was a diesel and when I think of ignition, I think points coil etc.
"Turning the key on the voltage drops" - You don't say how much, but with only dash lights I would not expect it to go below 12.5 to 12 at the very worst as the lights should only be drawing less than an Amp. Glow plug drop would be a lot more of course maybe as much as 15 amps each and that would taper off over time.
"Fuses are good, Starter works"
The starter solenoid latch up voltage should be good to about 10 volts, 12 giving it the best contact, as the voltage drops there may not be enough energy to even engage the teeth on the fly wheel.

For all you've said, I would be looking at the wiring off the switch to be shorted someplace prior to the fuses but after the switch. About all you can do is trace it out, move the wiring bundle away from the chassis or any panels it passes through or try changing position so it has a new area of contact on the jacket or bundle.

In the matter of the oil leak, turbulence will push the oil around so it is difficult to find. Clean the area well with a pressure washer and drive it around or idle it for a few minutes, blow baby powder on it to see where the leak shows up again.

In the matter of the rear end, most rear ends have a drain on the bottom and a filler plug halfway up the housing. With the owners manual find which oil you need, drain the old oil and put the new in. Also, check for any additives it may require if it is limited slip.

:-) we had a few cold snaps here in Colorado, but, the ice did not exceed my auger length, we were probably only at about 3 feet on Deweese.
Good luck on fishing, might be cold, but it is great when you find them.

I noticed there is no reenforcement for the concrete, or that your plans have indication of a footer. As you don't indicate and area of the country, frost heave could be an issue.
As a horse use, do not put concrete in the areas the horses will be, their shoes are very slick on concrete, do not use tin on the side the horses will be it will cut them up over time or damage their feet. The alternative is to put a footer board over the tin so they cannot get into it.
If you are in northern climes, try making the overhang 10 or 12 feet. Make sure the ground slope is away from the building and stalls even if you have to raise the whole site. without the drainage you will have the problem my neighbor does, their posts are rotting off and they used treated lumber and wrapped it with tar paper to protect the wood but the placement of the barn left water running down the west side and horse urine and manure make a strong solution to begin decay of the wood.
I would not use roofing nails on tin roofing, I would use roofing screws to attach tin, your roof will peal off in a strong wind. On the OSB, use ring shank nails, same problem as the tin.

assuming it is a 3 point blower, you might try replacing the gear box with this unit. For 540 in it will give a 730 and 3000 rpm outputs the horsepower rating is well within your tractor. All depends on how skilled you are at modifying things.<br>
There is also another one a little less expensive and a single shaft, and the horsepower is acceptable output at 540 would be in the 793 rpm range.

All Colorado gasoline is blended, there are no places left selling pure gas.
Nearly of my equipment is older and has whatever came on it as of the date of manufacture which in some cases is the later 60's. On both small and large engines I leave the fuel in it it had at last use. I do use additives, both Stabil since it has been available as well as Seafoam. Before these products became something more than a novelty I would turn off the fuel and let the motor run dry at storage. Leaving the old fuel in was cause for pulling carbs apart at the beginning of the season to clean them out, and this was when straight gas was still available.
The only thing I have noticed since having the blended is and increase in tank rust before I started using the storage additives. I did notice a difference in power, and economy when we changed mixtures in the spring and fall, but, as the state has decreed that all fuel will be mixed, it is a mute point anymore.
They also used to use propane and butane in the past to improve the octane rating.
Colorado only sells 85, 87 and 93, mostly I run the 85 it is not worth the time effort and worry to do the search for other fuels. I have noticed no issues with small or large engines leaving the gas in or running a specific octane rating, what I have noticed is that I do have to use the additives to keep my tanks from rusting as to where I did not notice the problem in the past. Treating the gas is nearly mandatory anymore due to the alcohol.
I have not noticed any issues with the rubber hoses, but most of my diesel stuff is from the late 80's or newer so it could already have the newer rubber.

I have a zenith on my Gleaner combine, it is attached to a budda engine.

1 turn on the on the idle mixture seems wrong, mine is 4 1/4 turns and I only have the one screw.
follow KW's suggestion on the vacuum leaks, we had an Gleaner A that gave us fits, and it was the intake manifold gasket.
Don't know if you ever remember tuning one of the old cars, but it was quiet easy to cross tune the carb screws on idle and run which cage you odd operation at higher rpm.
I assume your zeinth carb is an updraft like mine, finding a little gas in the bottom is pretty normal when the engine shuts down.
you didn't say when you tried restarting if you had the throttle wide open? Another, were you on uneven ground, the zeniths were notorious for flooding if you set the float level at the factory point. It needs to be up maybe 0.2 or .3 inches to keep the bowl from filling.
Also, you didn't say if this is something that just started, had you done a service, was there anything which occurred before this issue?

Not sure how yours is built, but I have one which has a cable shift. There are sleeves at the ends, if one of sleeves is missing or damaged it will make it hard to shift and finally as the cable bends more it will just stop working all together. Anyhow, I would check and see if it uses a cable to shift and look at the ends if it does. I just had to have one made for one of mine it ran about 200. Had I had the opportunity, I might have tried making a replacement tube, but I was right in the middle of planting.

Well, I don't know what machine you have. But, if i had a machine blowing fuses, I would check the wires involved with the function blowing the fuses. Typically I will open the fuse block, find the color of the wire and follow it to the the switch the switch, then follow the wire off the switch to the actuator solenoid for you blades, some where you have a short in the wire or possibly the solenoid
