Art, I am being told the LA211 only comes in a package with the 4-way valve now. When I purchased the blade I was told the loader would be hundreds less because I won't need the valve or the lines added to the tractor. Now its a kit ONLY. Are you sure I should be able to just buy the mounts (stands) and everything forward?

I have a BX2230 and just added the front blade with angle. This is the best bet for snow on a paved drive. WHAT A MACHINE, my wife was not happy when I bought the tractor or the blade but she is coming around now. Even more when I do her small paking lot at her barber shop. Can't say it enough, WHAT A MACHINE!!!

Sounds like a charging problem or a short. First put a volt meter across the battery and see if your getting 13.5 to 14.5 volts while its running, if you are most likely the alt is OK, that's if it's a 12 volt system. If the alt checks good then check for a short with the tractor OFF. Remove a cable and run it through an amp meter and see if you have an amp draw while its off, if you do start removing items or looking for bare wires until the draw on the meter goes away. I have seen the light switches fail, in fact I just replaced one a few weeks ago on mine. Good Luck!!

Thanks for all the great suggestions, I went with the blade because I just don't like the snow in my face when the wind blows. I don't have a traction problem at all, this BX2230 is awesome!!! I took the hoses and had them shorted for $10 and it looks and works great now. Anyone ever interested in selling just the FEL (LA211) without the valve please let me know. I am looking for the loader/arms/mounts.

Now I am looking at the 54" manual Kubota fron blade (TG2754). Does anyone know what this setup would cost? I only have the 60mmm and grass catcher at this time. I want to add a FEL but the funds won't allow it now. I was reading on a BB that the TG2754 was $350. Is that all I need to spend or is there more parts the Kubota site does not tell me about?

I just gave a deposit on my first Kubota. It's a BX2230 with 40/hours with a 60mmm and the Kubota PTO driven grass catcher. I am going to pick it up next weekend. I sure hope I did not make a mistake. I was told it was a deal by my brother (also a Kubota owner) but it was still a lot of money. I am looking for a FEL for it too.
