hi Frank thanks for the reply... in answer to your questions we are probably going to bale about 60 acres. I dont have a town job, this is going to be the thing for me. i will probably be buying used equipment to get started i realize it isnt a small investment. and yes this is a family venture so there will be lots of help. any advice you can give would be great.... my main question right now... and i will give an example... a john deer 348 baler requires 540 pto rpm and 35 pto hp mininmum, and a john deere 635 mower requires between 90 and 150 pto hp... if i buy a tractor big enough for the mower will it work for the baler or am i gonna blow the baler up? ha ha ha thanks again for your help!
