I bought a used rdth60 in good shape to cut my 3 acre open field of centipede. i use it every other week and it cuts poorly....the grass gets about 10-12" high and i have to adjust the deck to max height. i have noticed the belt slipping so i have tighten it several times.<br>
i cut the grass mostly when its early morning and its wet.<br>

it leaves patches of torn grass so i looked at the blades and appear to be ok but could use to be sharpend.<br>

i have ordered new belt, blades and idler pulley...<br>
i will be installing them next weekend.<br>
hopefully this will remedy the problems<br>

does anyone think of another reason it is not cutting<br>
right, other that the height i'm cutting at or wet grass ??<br>

never had a problem with my BH rotary mower....<br>
i'm just new to the finish style mower.<br>

take the starter to your napa autoparts, they have reliable rebuilders for just about any starter.
you must take yours to them.

I purchased mine from a local feed store about 3 years ago I think its a wildgame inovations manufacture...not sure and its not with me now so I cant look.
anyway, it has worked well fert'n & plant'n over 25 food plots we hunt. works on 12volts cost new was $159 on sale during high-heat off season.

I think the secret to lifetime of this type spreader is to keep it clean from dust and fine debri from the products you use.

I clean mine after every plot and when storing.

its plastic and cheap... but with care it can last
