It certainly won't help! You will probably find that without the heat it will take a while for it to get fogged up but it will do it with just you in the cab. Sounds like it's a good time for an auxilary valve and a hydraulic rotation kit and cylinder.

As suggested by others here I'd be tightening lines. I believe you have an air leak that is causing the problem. As it gets worse you might have an oil leak to tell you where the air is coming in. After operating it for a few minutes you have purged the air out.

Some where you are having the system bleed down. Murf,s suggestion could be right. You should be able to hear the electric solenoid kick in and out or you can on most tractors some by just feeling the pump when you turn the key on and off. Air will leak in even though the fluid will not leak out to give you evidence of a leak.

Ah - that makes sense. I guess it helps to talk in terms of what might happen. I basically said "I want to treat it like a car - I'll take it who-knows-where and I want it fixed if it breaks".

I'm in the process of building a 32' x 60 pole barn right now and I just figured out ir probably won't be big enough!

We've bought stuff since moving here that helped - just not enough and ended up buying more. Starting to get a handle on things now though.

I guess thats what happens when you take a city guy and put him in the country.

My purchases have gotten a LOT smarter since I found this place tho.

A good fab shop should be able to set that to the original
specs. using the same thickness plate cutting out the rust
back to good steel. It does not need any additional thickness added. Remember even a 6011 rod has 60000 psi per sq. inch,
and the deck is somewhere around 40000. In other words a proper bead of weld is stronger than the subject in this case.
I might suggest taking a couple of pics of another deck and bring them to a shop with you.

Kubota B7800-f, bought it at the end of last year. 75 hours to date, no problems, no need to call the dealer, although they called us to make sure we were still satisfied.

Would definitely buy this brand from this dealer again.

DRankin, thanks for the input. I tend to agree that the top link is a bit too long and it's probably because the end attached to the tractor has about an inch of thread showing and were painted, which prevents the turnbuckle from turning. I assume I should be able to turn it until the threads (or most of them) are not visible.

Dave, my box blade is 48" with 4 scarifiers, front and rear blades. I've been able to loosen turf even when the scarifiers are set to their deepest setting until I hit a large stone. It'll probably take quite a while to get proficient at using it but I think it'll come with practice. Unfortunately, while moving some top soil on the weekend with the FEL I forgot to totally close the flow rate valve and box blade gradually dropped enough for one of the scarifiers to clip a hidden rock near the surface. It ripped the point off the scarifier!

So far, I really amazed at what this little beast can do.

Okay, that sounds good then. Other then taking a lot of time to fix the tractor everything seems to be turning out okay.

Yep, they can be frustrating. I've got pocket gophers myself. Satans minions they are.

Here's a product (expensive) that is sure to kill them. I'd like to buy one for my gopher problem. I used poison in the tunnels for my gophers. Worked, but it's time consuming to use if you have a large population. Do you have a friend with a large snake you could borrow?

If I was buying a snowmobile trailer with a wood deck, I'd buy aluminum. For that load, it would be good. Any other trailer, I'd buy steel for the reasons others have listed. You just can't beat steel for the cost vs weight vs durability.

I think it was one of the tabs that accepts the mounting pin on the lift arm. Next time I will roll the deck as far forward as possible before sliding it sideways.

BTW, my dealer also cautioned me about making sure the driveshaft is fully connected. He said he's replaced a few tranny housings as a result of a PTO shaft coming loose at 2200RPM. Not pretty.

Is there any way to change the hydro filter without loosing all the fluid? I'd like to replace the dented filter with a new one out of good measure, but I just replaced the fluid 6 hours ago and I don't want to waste it.

What is up with New Holland dealers ? I bought a used TC-35D 2 months ago and not one dealer out of the three in my area will even acknowledge I exist. Now I understand I din't buy the tractor new from them, but they are just down right rude. I need to purchase a brush cutter, box blade and a PHD by next spring. These guys all have a chance to make an implement sale if they were not acting like jerks. I asked about adding 2 sets of aux. hydraulics to my tractor for T N T and one dealer asked me "Do you even know what aux hdraulic are ?" Well that did it. My tractor may be blue now, but from now on my tractors ( and implements) will be Green or Orange.

I picked my hooks up at Tractor Supply, I think they were about $7 each. I really like the clean look of Bigpete's gussets, my dealer used angle iron instead. I am sure it will work just fine but it just does not look as nice. (Not like I can even see them from the seat) Guess once you have seen what you want, if the final outcome is different, it just eats at ya.

My friend is in the process of building a cabin. Many days I was there with my Kubota w/FEL and his son in law brought over his Cat skid steer. We would always choose the skid steer for almost every job. The biggest reason is its maneuverability in tight places.

I've used Bobcats several times but I liked this Cat better by far. First of all it was really smooth running and quiet. Right hand controlled the bucket, left hand controlled the steering and hydro. That still leaves your right foot for a throttle which allows you to idle down instantly when you don't want full hydraulic flow and pressure. If I were in the market for a skidsteer, I would certainly try out the Cat.

I got mine from Tractor Supply Company(TSC). Their website is MYTSCSTORE.com. They don't have any stores in Conn. but have 23 in New York state. Not all stores have them, but think you can order or even drop ship them. It comes in a nice little box that UPS can deliver. I just cut a slit in the vinyl for the joystick and made a few brackets to hold it up. Like I said it ain't fancy but does the job.

I would caution you on thinking that you are going to make big bucks with a road side stand, or that you have to invest next to nothing to make this money. Likewise, it may take several or a bunch of years to grown Christmas trees.

I don't know your area, climate nor soil conditions. If you are in a farming community what are they growing. Is your community full of roadside stands or is there a large operation close to you? How about traffic on your road?

Possibility #1-Something for no work at all.
Three acres is not allot of land. I get about $125.00 per acre renting land to a farmer. Generally even a smalltime farmer is going to want atleast a 5-10 acre field minimum to make it worth his while unless he is just next door. He may want a hay field, etc. Some farmers rent land on the share basis(ie land owner gets 1/3rd and farmer get 2/3rds or a similar ratio).
Possibility#2-Berryfarm
I don't know if your region is a good candidate for this. Raspberry, blueberries or strawberries may be something unique. You can pick these or have the customers come and pick them.
Possibility#3-vineyard
You could try growing grapes and bottle you own brand of wine. One of my best friend's son is going to try this. You need just the correct climate and soil. This is a longshot!
Possibility#4-Nursery products
Can you get small trees, shrubs and plants cheap to grow and prune into a slightly larger size and resell. This is also a very competitive area if you have a nursery close or big chain store forget it.
Possibility#5-Veggie market
Most areas always have room for the basics like sweet corn, tomotatos, peppers and a few pumpkins. A roadside stand may be your best bet. Remember to keep you corn stalks and sell them for the holidays. In the South some other veggies may also be popular. If you do the math, at $3.00/dozen you gotta grown a lot of sweetcorn!
Possibility#6 Christmas tree farm
Plant a bunch of small trees, trim them several times a year and wait about 15 years.

I would enjoy the scenery and let the land grow idle.
