Sounds like your dealer didn't even put the hitch on the tractor??

There should be any number of pictures or drawings in your owners manual the will illustrate how and where all the parts attach.

I am really liking the OEM Turfs. It sits a little closer to the ground and has a slower top end, but the 23 inch diameter is most agreeable to the power band. The ride was pretty rough until I backed the pressure down to 10 PSI.<br>

There are times that different units might be priced lower and there are several reasons for it. Discontinued model, over stocked which takes to poor seller or over priced to begin with or over ordered.

When I was looking at chippers I looked at the Bearcat 70554. The dealer said the blower option was trouble - if you look at how it attaches the chip stream has to change directions and has a long discharge path that leads to major clogging issues. They recommended getting a 73554 model if I wanted a blower.

Not that it isn't cheaper then trading but that makes the BX23 look like a bargin for an initial perchase.

Look at Nh skid loaders they are available with either foot or hand controlled boom/bucket operation. With those loaders it is almost impossible to flip them back wards. The belly ban in the rear acts like wheelie bars.

Working for A NH dealer I know that they could have eaten that 3% and still made a profit. They are crooked. Good luck with your Deere. Check out what Kubota has to offer to if you have a local dealer around.

The glow plugs on the 2210 go on automatically when the key in the start position. There is no warning/wait light but you can hear a solenoid-type click when the glow plug timer turns them off after a few seconds.

You can manually preheat and reduce the starter cranking time by turning on the pto and then turning the key to the start position until you hear the glow plugs click off; push off the pto button and it'll start immediately.

The same thing can be done with the 2-speed lever but it isn't as convenient as the pto switch.

Riosman, good price. In 2000 I paid 22,000 for a 4700 Hydro with all the above except the loader. Although the 4700 has the Yanmar engine which IMO is better than the JD power tech.

If the linkage isn't the problem then it is a sign that that gear needs to be replaced. We have seen it in many farm tractors that often the most used gear gets worn and will need to be replaced.

If you are figuring on selling them yourself to make the most of your investment you would need to be in the right place. You would need to have enough stock to make it worth while for the customers to come back or enough for the word to spread and be able to have enough stock to grow with. The farmers markets in many towns would be a good outlet to sell at but again means more time invested. A good relationship with an existing stand to broaden their market might be a good avenue with the least investment in your time without having the retail to worry worry about. The organic markets are one of the fastest growing markets for farmers and organic products do bring a good price.

Chief, what is PIP and MMM? Not wanting to sound dumb but I've only owner a tractor for a little over a year and I'm amazed at how much there is to know about them.

Congratulations on becoming a premium member denwood. Like you, I went ahead and bit the bullet and it's been one of the best things I've done.

Another possibility to consider is a leak on the suction line between the pump and sump screen. When the oil is thicker the problem is more pronounced until the oil warms up. I would check all the hose clamps on the suction side of the pump. Has this problem been there since the beginning or has it recently appeared? I have seen some of these suction lines get damaged when running in rough terrain or over alot of debris. If you haven't done it yet, I would change the hydraulic filter also. There has been some history of some contamination left in the transmission housings from the factory. Actually if the tractor is still in warranty, the dealer should get this straightened out for you. Good Luck!

Does anyone know if my 2210 has glowplugs or not? In the manual it lists a 20 amp circuit out of the fuse block for glow plugs, but under cold weather starting in the same manual it makes no mention of them. I am used to pushing the key in or turning it backwards on larger tractors and this is not mentioned in the manual.<br>

Seems to me that Osama bin Laden is dead set (pun intended) Dubya. All the more reason to cast your vote for Dubya unless you intend to cast your vote with Osama.

Setting this aside, John Kerry was dishonorably or other than honorably discharged from the Navy. Doesn't that give you cause to perhaps consider carefully your vote for Commander In Chief.

This is pretty much what you can expect from an NaCl filled tire with it appears no tube installed to isolate the NaCl from the steel rim. The rust and corrosion will continue but most likely will take years to get to a point that will force you to make a repair. To repair this, you will have to remove the tire from the rim, sandblast or other method of removing rust and corrosion, prime & repaint rims and reinstall tire with an puncture resistant inner tube and then refill the tire. I would suggest Rim Guard to refill the tire but Rim Guard has less weight per gallon than NaCl. Your call on that. The Rim Guard is non-corrosive. (compose more or less of windshield wiper fluid)

AV8R: Your point is well taken. In any type of business whether selling tractors or bed springs there are certian dealers who allways sem to excell over others. Seems like the ones who are allways in a a slower more steady growth pattern that develop good customer relations, get the service work and the repeat sale allways win out over the complacent never change anything sector or the flash bang can't expand big and fast enough mega dealerships. I guess I'm fortunate to live in an aeria where most dealers are in the second class I described. Enjoy your day. Frank.
